Tanks Summer School: exercises with Five Years Teachers' programme

Set against the extraordinary backdrop of these cavernous spaces and led by artist run gallery Five Years, this dynamic school will consist of related assignments culminating in a live event. Working with historical records and contemporary precedents, participants will work individually and as a collective to re-enact, devise and document performance. The Tanks will become a site for practical enquiry and intervention, opening up dialogue and exploring live art and the performative as modes for learning that might challenge and inform classroom practice.
