Tate Britain Free Guided Tours and Talks

A free guided tour in Tate Britain

© Rikard Österlund

Learn about the art in Tate Britain with a talk on a number of artworks or a guided tour around part of the gallery

Each session is different and packed with fascinating insights, information and stories. Our Guides come from a wide range of backgrounds and their talks reflect their passions and interests.

All talks and tours last around 45 minutes and start at the meeting point at the top of the Manton Stairs (leading up from the Manton Entrance).

Admission to the gallery is free but all visitors need a pre-booked collection ticket.

Tate Britain's Manton Entrance is on Atterbury Street. It has automatic sliding doors and there is a ramp down to the entrance with central handrails.

Accessible and standard toilets are located on the lower floor. Changing Places toilets are currently not available at Tate Britain.
