Celebrating 50 years since the release of The Beatles album Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, families are invited to help fix a hole and contribute to a collaborative artwork in the studio. Led by artists Harriet Hall and Karen Green, this half-term workshop is inspired by The Beatles song Fixing a Hole and the lyrics ‘I’m fixing a hole where the rain gets in, And stops my mind from wandering, Where will it go’. Artists and musicians often do meditative tasks that stop, or start, their mind from wandering. Participants are asked to think about what they do to focus their imagination or let it wander. These thoughts will then be weaved into the artwork making, contributing to the piece.
