We're staying up late for LightNight

Join us for LightNight, Liverpool’s spectacular, one-night only arts and culture festival. We’ll be staying open until 22.00 allowing you more time to enjoy our exhibitions and displays alongside free activities programmed specially for the evening.

Pop into our free exhibition, UTUPYA, by Brazilian collective OPAVIVARÁ!, which will be open until 22.00. Enjoy a unique puppetry performance called The Cockatrice. Participate in our hands-on family workshop, Connected Collectives: Making and Shaking, where you can make wearable shakers. Join in with the ROOT-ed Debate, which will discuss how we can transform the art world into becoming more inclusive. Don't miss our free display of works by pop artist Roy Lichtenstein and the selection of 30 works chosen by our Art Handling Manager in Ken's Show, both of which will be open until 22.00.

Our café and shop will also be open until 22.00.

This event is part of LightNight, Liverpool’s one-night arts and culture festival. On Friday 18 May the doors of our world-class museums, galleries and heritage sites will stay unlocked until late for an unforgettable evening of over 100 free events.
