Tate Liverpool Workshop

LightNight 2018: Connected Collectives: Making and Shaking

Move, shimmy and shake around the gallery

Participate in our exciting hands-on workshop led by our Family and Tate Collective, where you can make shakers.

Come and join in the fun with our Collectives in our Clore Learning Centre. They will leading a hands-on workshop making shakers and costume accessories to create carnival looks, inspired by our Opavivara! exhibition, Utupya. Create, move and wear your design. Take your creation to our DreamScreen before forming a procession through the gallery!

Who are Tate Liverpool’s Collectives?

Our Family Collective is a ground-breaking initiative consisting of 13 local Liverpool parents who have been invited to work with artists at Tate Liverpool to co-create on the early years and families programme.

Tate Collective is our peer-led young people's programme for 15-25 year olds, who devise, deliver and commission an ambitious programme of activities, events and exhibitions.
