Have you ever wanted to perform at Tate Liverpool? Join us throughout our special exhibition An Imagined Museum and perform your favourite artwork in the gallery.
An Imagined Museum: works from the Centre Pompidou, Tate and MMK collections asks visitors to imagine that it is the future and that all of the artwork in the world is about to disappear. To preserve artworks visitors must ‘remember’ them or know them by heart.
A designated performance space in the exhibition allows visitors to remember their most cherished artworks of all time, not just from the exhibition itself. Artwork selections can be wide-ranging and could include anything from Picasso’s Guernica to Rodin’s The Kiss or Tracey Emin’s Bed. Whether through dance, song or spoken word, performances will express the unique impact and values that only art brings into our lives.
