Apples & Snakes Presents: Keith Jarrett

portrait of the poet

Join poet and educator Keith Jarrett as he reads from his poetry collection, Selah

Keith Jarrett’s Selah explores the fractured narratives of a Black British Identity. He conjures his work from his migrant parents and a religious upbringing and inner city London. The collection combines musical intrigue with history and desire. The poems feature organ recitals and teenage gospel hip-hop. Selah asks the reader to stop and consider.

Keith’s reading will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Selah is published by Burning Eye Books.

This event is part of the June Uniqlo Tate Lates.
