Apples & Snakes Presents: Will Harris

Join poet and writer Will Harris as he reads from his poetry collection, RENDANG

In RENDANG, Will Harris explores his Anglo-Indonesian heritage as he thinks about the contradictions of identity and cultural memory. The collection, presents a new take on the self, and how an identity is constructed. It is intellectual and accessible, moving and experimental.

Will creates companions that speak to us in multiple languages. They sit next to us on the bus and walk with us through the crowd. They talk to us while we are chopping shallots.

Will’s reading will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

RENDANG is published by Granta.

This event is part of the April Uniqlo Tate Lates.

Will Harris is an Assistant Editor at The Rialto and a fellow of The Complete Works. Will teaches for The Poetry School.
