How are young people shaping the futures of art and culture?

Fully booked for advance bookings. A small number of tickets will be available from the Switch House Level 5 on the day, first come, first served.

Hear first-hand from emerging artists, curators and influencers to learn about ‘do it yourself’ attitudes towards making it in the creative industries.

Emerging filmmaker duo from Northampton, The Rest (Alex Motlhabane and Lewis Levi), will share some of their existing and new work which represents the cultures of tomorrow. Hear about their creative journey so far, how they got to where they are today and what they hope to achieve in the future.

We’ll talk about the power of moving image as a creative medium and the potential to showcase to mass audiences online. Also, what it means to be an emerging creative in London right now and how to make your mark. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to get some key advice from emerging creatives.

Future Talks are curated by young people from Tate Collective London for their peers.

Future Talks are part of Circuit, led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

The talk takes place in Tate Exchange, Level 5, Switch House.

This event is part of the opening weekend for the new Tate Modern, brought to you by Uniqlo.
