Tate Modern Special Event

Tuttle Families

Open Studio Family Event Sept 2014

open studio: Matisse families

Family event in The Tanks

Weave in, out and around. Flock together and apart.

Weave your way through the Turbine Hall as you move your body to an original soundtrack, guided by dancers and communicating through giant tin can phones - creating colourful shapes and patterns together.

Inspired by Richard Tuttle’s Turbine Hall commission I Don’t Know . The Weave of Textile Language, Tuttle Families includes Flock, a free performance workshop for all ages and abilities.

Flock has been devised by choreographer Aya Kobayashi and musician Dougie Evans for the Tuttle Families event with Tate London’s Families team.

Recommended for families with children age 5 years and up.

Please also drop into the Families Welcome Room to pick up a Sonic Trail, and explore Tuttle’s work further through Open Studio.
