Dubmorphology: dis.so.nance

Dubmorphology, Encounter October 2010

Responding to the volumetric geometry, acoustic sonic quality and surface texture of the materials in the Tanks, Dubmorphology artists Trevor Mathison and Gary Stewart will weave together a multimedia narrative that traces different epistemic, emotional, and socio-political viewpoints. Together with guest sonic adventurers dub basist Dr Das, poet HKB FiNN, vocalist Sonia Mehta and percussionist Ramjac, they will create a performance laboratory where they will explore the relationships between past legacies and struggles with our present lives and environments through an evolving mutation of live audio visual performance in perpetual flux.

The Dubmorphology artists will be discussing their work in our Artist Talks, on Saturday 18 August and Sunday 19 August.
