This festival is the culmination of our Tate Collective Creative Workshops

Aimed at young people but everyone is welcome.

This event has been programmed by young people aged 16–25 from our Tate Collective team.

PROGRAMME

  • Exclusive screening of Artist film: 'Why would we NOT be Angry?'

Created in collaboration with Tate Collective Producers and inspired by the Nashashibi/ Skaer film: 'Why are you Angry?'

  • Talks and discussion

Conversation with Isabel Lima, artist filmmaker and PHD researcher.
Q&A with documentary filmmaker Florence Browne: Contemporary feminism and filmmaking.
Femme-shaming and internalised prejudice in the queer community with Reilee, Tate Collective Producer.

  • Performance

Where is, Motherland? with live Illustration workshop
Inspired by the exhibition, come and explore illustration in a new way combining performance and photography.

  • Body Garments: Confidence Kaftans

Workshop exploring body positivity through playful and wearable art!

  • Protests and Processions

Join a hands on workshop in the gallery space hosted by Live Artists in costume, make your own banner and take part or watch our procession at 3.40pm.
