Artist-in-Residence workshops: Spring 2017

A series of workshops for students and teachers, encouraging fresh perspectives on art

We take a radical approach to engagement, inviting students to learn about art through being in a conversation with each other, teachers, artists and artworks within the particular context of the public gallery space. Through sharing thoughts and ideas they can create a unique and diverse learning context designed to encourage individuals to engage with art and contemporary culture.

Each conversation, framed as it is through art and practice, will be different and unpredictable but always designed to encourage individuals to ask questions and form opinions.

Our 2016–17 workshops are led by: Louise Ashcroft, Jonny Briggs, Jemma Egan, Milda Lembertaite, Sophie Michael and Amelia Prazak.
