The bust was made in the summer of 1934. Jeanne de Casalis (b. 1898), actress, is best known for her radio part of Mrs Feather, and is also author of Mrs Feather's Diary 1936. Only two casts exist; the other belongs to Douglas Stephenson, husband of the sitter.
