Technique and condition
A monochrome watercolour with a pencil underdrawing on medium-weight cream laid paper. The work is in good condition with noticeable surface dirt.
On acquisition the surface was dry-cleaned to reduce surface dirt and then pressed. It was inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
