Inscr. ‘John’ c.r.; inscribed in pencil under the paint is a letter which looks like a ‘J’ and two figures which may be ‘11’ or ‘12’.

In style this picture is very similar to the portrait of Dorelia in the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, Dublin.
