The first three of the seven prints which comprise ‘The Janus Suite’ are concerned with the inward-looking aspect of consciousness and the internalisation of experience (see P02465-P02467). The second half of the set (completed in 1979) contains the four prints listed here, and deals with the relationship between the inner self and outward reality. The texts used in the suite are the artist's own poems, written between 1972 and 1978.
