Chantrey Purchase from the artist 1949.

Exh: R.A., 1949 (928).

Painted in 1945 when the artist was living at Westwood Cottage, Queen's Drive, Ilkley, Yorkshire. The conservatory, which was attached to the house, has since been much altered and enlarged.
