Catalogue entry

The subject currently remains unidentified, but is presumably in the Midlands. It shows a distant town or perhaps a castle on a wooded hillside above a wide valley, with what appears to be a windmill in the far distance. There is a separate study of a Gothic church tower towards the top right.
