Catalogue entry

As discussed in the introduction, most of the drawings in this book are rapid figure studies, many of which are erotic; others may be similar in intent, but are difficult to make out. Here the naked woman astride a man on the left is one of the most explicit, while the group on the right with a naked reclining woman, her arm raised to a fragmentary figure or figures, is more enigmatic.
