The sheet is folded, with the present vertical study on one half, and a horizontal view of nearby Eliseg’s Pillar on the other (Tate D00334; Turner Bequest XXI H 1). There is an inscription, which may relate to the Valle Crucis subject, on the verso of the other half (D40040).
