The slight main sketch appears to show the inside of a cave, perhaps Peak Cavern below Peveril Castle at Castleton, seen on adjacent pages. There appears to be a variation on the left, separated by rough pencil lines, which possibly continues on folio 19 verso opposite (D22184). It is possible that both drawings should be read vertically, with the gutter of the page at the bottom.
For other views of the castle, village and cave, see under folio 1 verso (D22152).
