A view from the same position but looking back down the Wey Navigation towards Guildford is on folio 113 verso of the sketchbook (D06312). The ruins of St Catherine’s Chapel are clearly seen here on the right and below is the Wey with the ferry with several boats moored on the riverside, leading Hill to suggest that Turner moored here for the night.
