This appears to be a view to the south along the Devon coast at Teignmouth, with the profile of the Ness headland across the mouth of the River Teign in the distance. Successive drawings on the verso and folio 92 recto (D08536, D08537; CXXIII 88a, 89) seem to show the same feature from further away, and an inscription on the latter appears to refer to the area. For other views of Teignmouth see under folio 71 verso (D08499; CXXIII 68a).
