Your surreal adventure will begin with some very weird artworks which will hopefully give you some ideas.

You can then use our Surreal Story download to invent a strange character, write an odd story (which can be as peculiar as you like) and create a dreamlike landscape to explore.

The surrealists were a group of artists and poets who enjoyed using thier imaginations to make weird and wonderful artworks and poetry.

What you need

  • A printer
  • 2 x sheets of plain A4 paper to print your activity
  • A pencil, a pen and some crayons
  • A friend (to have your surreal adventure with)
  • Your imagination (you'll definietly need this!)
