Curator’s tour: Meschac Gaba

Meschac Gaba Summer Collection From Museum of Contemporary African Art 1997 – 2002

Join Assistant Curator Nada Raza for a tour of Meschac Gaba: Museum of Contemporary African Art.

Taking the audience through the curatorial processes, she maps out the display from its origins to completion, sharing insights into the curatorial and conservation challenges involved in bringing Tate's largest single acquisition to the public. The work consists of twelve sections that allow interaction and exchange, including a Salon, Game Room, Museum Shop and Marriage Room.

This is a special and exciting opportunity to visit the exhibition while it is quiet and closed to the public
