We asked kids to tell us what they saw when they looked at a piece of art. They reacted to the art in front of them and told us exactly what they thought.
They said it 'makes [them] crazy and it looks creepy'. Yikes! What could this be?

Artist Salvador Dalí was very interested in dreams and is known for his paintings of melting clocks! He made this surrealist sculpture in 1938.
It is made up of a real telephone and a sculpture of a lobster made from resin - a type of plastic.
He made other versions of this sculpture, including one where the phone's handset is entirely replaced by the lobster.
Dalí chose to put to entirely unrelated objects together and call it art! What two objects would you put together to make a piece of art?
