Description
A 'conseilleur technique [technical advisor] charge de la direction des travaux d'art'[signature illegible, most probably A. Hautecour] of the Exhibition repeats the information from Jacques Lipchitz that his model 'L'Esprit de la Decouverte' [probably, first title for 'Prometheus killing vulture'], commissioned on 2 October, was approved with some small changes. The technical advisor adds that he can't intervene in the negotiations of Lipchitz with Mr.Leveille on these changes because the 'Service des Travaux d'Art' has only administrative functions and all issues related to art are the responsibility of the 'Commission des Beaux-Arts du Palais de Decouverte'. Stamp 'Paris Exposition Internationale 1937' on the envelope and on the body of letter.
