Harry William ADAMS 1868–1947
Landscape painter, mainly of mountain and winter scenes. Born 3 November 1868 in Worcester. After leaving school, worked for eight years as a decorative artist in the Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory. Studied in Paris 1895–6. Paid several visits to Switzerland. Exhibited at the R.A. 1896–1927; member of the R.B.A. 1912. Lived at Worcester, where he died 1 May 1947.
