Technique and condition
A watercolour with pencil underdrawing on cream laid paper. The work is in good condition with general surface dirt and small areas of foxing.
On acquisition the support was removed from its secondary support lining and old adhesives removed. The work was cleaned to reduce surface dirt and then pressed. It was inlaid and mounted onto white museum board.
