Lit: Giorgio de Marchis and Sandra Pinto, Colla (Rome 1972), No.68a, p.60, repr.
Screenprint made by Giorgio Ascani from a collage by Colla; Giorgio de Marchis and Sandra Pinto suggest that the composition may have been inspired by a painting by Capogrossi. An edition of 1500 was printed to serve as the cover for Arti Visive, 1st series, Nos.6-7, January 1954 (the print being folded over to form the front and back of the cover); but this example is from a further edition of 50 not used for this purpose.
