The Prophecy was made in essentially the same way and at about the same time as Another World (Tate Gallery T07194), while Collins was living at Dartington Hall in Devon. The same paper was used for both drawings, as well as for The Fool, c.1940 (private collection),[1]and the artist has recalled that a supply was available in the Dartington art classes led by Hein Heckroth and Cecil Collins after 1939… (read more)
