There is a unique work consisting of four photographs mounted together: ‘Four Small False Alarms’ 1978. This work is related to ‘Still Life’ 1977–8 (coll. British Council). The photograph was taken in the exhibition gallery at Kettle's Yard, Cambridge towards the end of Head's tenure of a post as artist-in-residence at Clare Hall and Kettle's Yard. The brick wall depicted has subsequently been plastered.
