One of twenty-five drawings and monotypes made in connexion with the lithographs prepared by the artist to illustrate A Book of Burgundy by Pierre Poupon and Pierre Forgeot, published in 1958; the lithograph based on this monotype, but oblong in format, is on p.18.
Besides the Leicester Galleries exhibition there was a further exhibition of similar works at the Redfern Gallery in 1958.
