Catalogue entry

The subject is similar to that of an aquatint by Francis Jukes after Edward Dayes (1763–1804), published in 1800 (British Library London, K Top XXXI -18.b). Two other river views, probably on the Wye between Goodrich and Monmouth, are on folios 56 recto and 59 recto (D00612, D00615; Turner Bequest XXVI 58, 61).
The drawing was made with the page turned horizontally.
Verso:
Blank; stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram.
