Drawn with the sketchbook inverted. As Hill observes, these slight notations are ‘loosely related’ to details of Windsor Castle from the Thames of circa 1805 (Tate T03870; displayed at Petworth House),1 a more complete study for which is on folio 29 verso of this sketchbook (D05532).
