Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Finberg listed this as the verso of ‘page 88’, noting that it ‘probably belong[s] to this sketchbook’. It was inserted in the reconstituted book as folio 15 recto, as noted by Edward Croft-Murray in a copy of Finberg in Tate’s Library. The right edge is torn confirming that the leaf was reversed when rebound.
