Probably a right-hand page from the sketchbook, with stitch holes on the left.
The drawing, a glimpse of Downs or Weald, occupies only part of the left side of the sheet, indicating that it is a continuation of another subject. This side is now mounted as if it were the verso of D10334; Turner Bequest CXXXVIII 12a, with the drawing revealed by a window in the mount.
