Drawn with the sketchbook inverted. For Cobham Hall and drawings in this sketchbook see comment to folio 75 verso (D06484; Turner Bequest XCIX 71a), and see also folio for another sketch of cows, presumably drawn in the same place. These ruins are not of the house itself, but are part of the ancient College, now almshouses, nearby. See also folio 84 verso (D06500; Turner Bequest XCIX 80a).
