Accepted by the nation as part of the Turner Bequest 1856
Turner circled the Lake of Albano and made sketches from several different points. This view of the lake from the northern shore near Marino with Monte Cavo on the left, continues on the opposite sheet of the double-page spread, see folio 15 (Tate D15321).
