Considering the subjects of folios 8a–13 (D25777–D25786) – Preston from Walton-le-Dale – this sketch is likely to be a view from the same place. However, rather than looking towards Preston, this view may look south over Walton-le-Dale from near the Church of St Leonard, with the Holland Wood Weir in the middle distance.
