There are two sketches of the view of Preston from Walton-le-Dale on this page. With the sketchbook turned to the left is a view of the town (now a city) with the southern bank of the River Ribble filling the left side of the sketch. The second view is identical to the sketch on folios 11a–12 (D25783–D25784), and similar to three more sketches in this book (see folio 8 verso; D25777 for references).
