Neidpath Castle is seen here from the north-west. The L-shaped tower house stands on the north bank of the River Tweed which flows beneath it to the right. At the left is the path that leads to the castle, which lies about a mile away from Peebles to the east. Peebles Bridge and Church can be seen in the distance just to the left of the castle. There is a similar view of the distant structures on folio 9 verso (D26112).
