The main focus of this double-page sketch is the castle, on folio 38 verso opposite (D08921; CXXV 37a). Here the island’s rocky shoreline appears in the foreground, with the coast towards the Lizard to the south-east in the distance.
Technical notes:
There is some rubbing above the skyline.
