Finberg numbers this page as the first in his listing for this sketchbook, and the sheet was presumably bound there at the time; it is now bound as the last in the book. The recto is blank. Conversely, two pages which he lists towards the end (D08938 and D08939; CXXV 47, 48) are now bound as folios 2 recto and 1 recto respectively (see the concordance in the sketchbook introduction).
Technical notes:
Tears to the edges have been repaired, and there is some brown spotting.
