This page contains a schematic view of the city of Lyon seen from the heights of the Croix Rousse Hill to the north. The large dome visible on the left represents the historic hospital of Hôtel Dieu on the peninsula known as Presqu’île and behind it runs the course of the River Rhône. The River Saône meanwhile lies on the right-hand side of the page. For further sketches of Lyon see folio 51 (D14071).
