i. (main sketch, above) The left section of a two-part panorama of the quay and lake front at Geneva as seen from the harbour, panning here from the Cathedral to the mouth of the River Rhône, and continuing to the right on the opposite page (D29131; Turner Bequest CCXCIII 50a) to include the Hotel des Bergues.
ii. (middle) The left section of a two-part panorama of Geneva as seen from the harbour, a closer view than than that recorded (i) and from slightly further left, and continued to the right in (iii) below, to pan across the mouth of the Rhône.
iii. (bottom) The right section of a two-part panorama of Geneva as seen from the harbour, continued to the right from (ii) above.
