As noted by Ian Warrell,1 like the slight view on the recto (D22194), this drawing (made with the sketchbook turned vertically) probably shows the view south-east to Haddon Hall, roughly indicated in outline towards the left. The strokes in the foreground are carried over a little onto folio 26 recto opposite (D22196). For other views of the hall, see under folio 24 recto (D22192).
