There are three sketches here, made with the page turned vertically. At the top is a view of Peveril Castle from the south-east, with St Edmund’s Church in Castleton below to the right. The middle register shows the castle’s curtain wall looking south from the keep. At the bottom the castle is seen to the north above Castleton, with the ravine leading to Peak Cavern on the right.
