J.M.W. Turner: Sketchbooks, Drawings and Watercolours

With the sketchbook turned horizontally, Turner worked a view of the Pont au Change in Paris from the banks of the Seine onto this page with the Pont Neuf beyond. The conical roofs of the towers of the Conciergerie can be seen on the left-hand side. Turner made several sketches of the riverside in the present volume, a list of which is provided in the sketchbook Introduction.
